A Message from the Chamber President:

Our chamber is a strong asset for Florence. Our board, members and staff working in unison have accomplished a great deal.
"promote and enhance a favorable business climate and improve the quality of life to make Florence...the best community in which to live and operate a business."

Our mission statement gives us our direction, and our programs carry it out. When you combine the volunteers and the countless hours they spend on our programs, you have an absolute catalyst for success.

In the spring of 2005 we conducted a survey asking you, our members to rate the importance and quaity of our programs. Our 87% approval rating is an endorsement and a challenge to continue to improve our performance. In the past few years we have worked diligently to provide activities and products that support development in all size businesses.

We've brought the May Fly Air Show to life and given our community a large regional event that provides affordable family fun for our Pee Dee region.

We've received recognition for Building Bridges, the Leadership Florence, and our support of Economic Revitalization. Your feedback on Business After Hours, the huge growth in website hits and the financial support of sponsorships by the corporate community have made this possible.
