Zimmerman Family Fund Established At Boys & Girls Clubs Of The Pee Dee Area

Friends of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area have committed more than $173,000 to establish the Zimmerman Family Fund. The announcement came during the Champions for Youth Tribute event on September 16.

“Words can’t do justice to what this means. It’s definitely an honor for me and my wife. Florence is a great community for Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Neal Zimmerman, executive director for the organization for more than 30 years.

The Zimmerman Family Fund has been dedicated in honor of his late wife Nancy, Neal’s spouse of 38 years who lost her battle with cancer in June this year.
