The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Winter Legislative Breakfast will be held on Friday, February 20 at The Florence Center, 3300 W Radio Dr. in Florence

This year’s speaker will be South Carolina Senator Mike Reichenbach representing District 31 covering Darlington and Florence Counties.

A great deal is already happening in the SC Government early in 2026 and Senator Reichenbach will cover hot topics such as state infrastructure, education technology (phone-free schools), state employee compensation, tax policy as well as the ongoing legislative discussions on DEI and betting.

The Chamber’s Community Breakfast is an informational gathering held twice each year. Topics range from state and local representatives providing legislative updates to local concerns centered on community safety, health care, and education. The breakfast is open to business and civic leaders as well as the general public. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and the program begins at 7:50 a.m.

Registration for the Legislative Breakfast is $30 for chamber members, $40 for non-members and $260 for a forward reserved table of 8. The breakfast is made possible by Duke Energy and TD Bank.
