Information Session Held On SCORE Mentor-ship

On Tuesday, May 11th the Florence Chamber held an informational session on how seasoned business leaders could learn more about volunteering and sharing their business experience to help area small startup businesses. This effort was made possible by the new Pee Dee branch of SCORE which provides support for new and existing small businesses in the area. Small businesses need help now more than ever. As our small business communities recover from the pandemic, local volunteers can be a part of helping them return as a prosperous and thriving establishment. Jim Helfgott, SCORE Grand Strand Chapter Chair, helped conduct the meeting, along with local business owner and Chamber chair, Mike Reichenbach. The local SCORE Pee Dee Branch offices are located at the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce – 100 West Evans Street in Downtown Florence.
