St. Anthony Catholic School Welcomes Students Back to School

St. Anthony Catholic School welcomed teachers and students back last week with its highest opening enrollment number in years, at 130 students. Prior to the opening of school, Saint Anthony Catholic School held their annual Back to School Night with the opening message of having a spirit of service and keeping your flame burning bright with Faith, Family, Knowledge and Service that inspired families as they enter a new school year. Families had the opportunity to build community with each other, tour the building and meet teachers, with a special unveiling of the renovations to the library and the playground. Families also were excited for students to reveal a snippet performance of the highly anticipated March 2024 school musical, “Fiddler on the Roof JR”.

Help Us Help You – Take The August Palmetto Business Barometer Survey

If you own, manage, or run a business in the Palmetto State, The SC Chamber wants to hear from you! The Palmetto Business Barometer measures business conditions and attitudes over time with an emphasis on behaviors to better understand the conditions South Carolina employers are facing and to inform the public about the state’s economy and workforce.

The Barometer is a product of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce. The SC Chamber manages the Palmetto Business Barometer survey and DEW analyzes the data to identify how business conditions, needs and expectations are changing.

Current data shows that Palmetto State employers are still concerned about their ability to hire and retain workers, expect to wage raises over the next six months, and that inflation and labor remain the toughest challenges to run their operations.
