Temple and Hogsette Law Group Celebrates 21 Years of Recognizing Florence School District One’s “Teachers of the Year”
Temple and Hogsette Law Group is proud to mark 21 years of supporting and celebrating the educators of Florence School District One through its annual “Teachers of the Year” recognition. This event honors the incredible dedication, innovation, and commitment that these teachers demonstrate as they shape the minds of our community’s youth.
The recognition event, established by the law firm in 2005, has become a hallmark of recognition for exceptional educators who go above and beyond to inspire and empower students. Over the years, the Florence community has gathered to celebrate these remarkable educators, acknowledging their commitment to academic excellence, student development, and community service.
Senator Hugh Leatherman hosted the inaugural “Teachers of the Year” event and did so until his death. The recognition continues today with the support of the Florence County Legislative Delegation, including Representatives Wallace H. “Jay” Jordan, Phillip D. Lowe, Robert Williams, Roger Kirby, and Senator Mike Reichenbach. These leaders help host the event at the South Carolina Statehouse, where teachers are celebrated through a private tour, legislative recognition, and the presentation of commemorative certificates during a luncheon with Florence County’s legislative delegation.
