Florence Continues To Show Industry Growth
A recent article by the Post & Courier Pee Dee reports that Florence continues to show industry growth with lower cost of living which is attracting newcomers to Florence County.
It’s not really news that Florence County is seeing more people moving to the area. We’ve all seen the growth happening over the course of recent years. Many are looking for affordable living with the proximity to larger surrounding cities along with job opportunities and of course Southern Hospitality.
The Post & Courier went on to say Florence County’s population grew by less than 200 people from 2010 to 2020, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau. However, over the past few years we’ve has seen a large spike with the population growing by nearly 1,000 from 2020 to 2024.
