Dixie® Darlington Plant Adding A New $25 Million Warehouse

Georgia-Pacific and the Dixie® Darlington facility announced plans today to construct a 200,000-square-foot warehouse and trailer yard at its Dixie® plate and bowl plant. This $25 million investment is designed to enhance operating efficiency, integrate advanced technologies and elevate customer service.

Approximately 35 jobs will be connected to this warehouse investment, which will be operated by a third party that will partner with the Darlington facility. This latest investment follows a $180 million investment that expanded the facility and brought in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment that reshaped the Darlington facility as a premier producer of plates and bowls.

The warehouse and trailer yard project is expected to start immediately and will occupy space where two unoccupied facility buildings currently stand. It will start operation sometime in 2026.
