Pee Dee Economic Blueprint 2035 Luncheon
The Greater Florence and Hartsville Chambers, along with Florence County Economic Development, partnered with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce to host the The Pee Dee Economic Blueprint 2035 Luncheon, “A Roadmap for South Carolina’s Economic Future” on September 9th at SiMT. All regional chambers of commerce and economic development teams, and their members, were invited to participate.
Approximately 100 area business leaders and economic developers attended the luncheon and discussed the state’s economic future.
The effort was meant to allow regional voices to be heard in the crafting of a comprehensive economic growth plan designed to address the challenges and opportunities facing the South Carolina economy.
The luncheon meeting included a live survey (via Menti) and also allowed for open-ended questions from those attending. The South Carolina Chamber managed the program along with Grant Thornton in an effort to draft the Blueprint, with local input.
Special thanks to Sonoco and FDTC for supporting this regional event.
