Fellows in Education Visit South Florence High School

The 2025-2026 Fellows in Education class met on September 9th for the first school visit of the year at South Florence High School.

The participants were amazed to see all the wonderful arts and technology programs available to the high school students. South Florence High School, with Mrs. Shand Josey as Principal, works hard toward excellence as a premier arts magnet high school with engaging opportunities for its students.

The class of 30 local civic and business leaders will visit 8 different Florence 1 Schools over an 8 period month to showcase what is being done at Florence 1 Schools each day in educating our children.

Fellows In Education is a joint project between Florence 1 Schools, the School Foundation and the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.
