Francis Marion University Ranked By U.S. News & World Report
Francis Marion University has once again been named one of the top Regional Universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report. FMU has earned a place on this prestigious list for more than two decades, a consistent recognition of the University’s academic quality and value.
This year, FMU was honored in five different categories: Top Regional Universities (54), Top Public Schools (28), Best Value Schools (20), Top Performers on Social Mobility (25), and Best Colleges for Veterans (27).
Four of FMU’s undergraduate academic programs also received national recognition: business, engineering, nursing, and psychology. Each of these programs was highlighted for excellence in its field, marking the second consecutive year that all four programs earned this distinction.
