Fellows In Education Visit Florence 1 District Offices

On Tuesday, January 13th, the Fellows in Education class held their monthly meeting at the Florence 1 Schools District Office.

The F1S District Office visit included a great lunch while Fellow participants heard about school district programs and initiatives from a variety of the district leaders, such as Erick Figueras, Director of Arts & Innovative Programs; Cathy Lee, Blue Zones Coordinator; Superintendent Richard O’Malley; and Krystle Graham, Coordinator of Clinical Services.

Fellows in Education is a joint program between Florence 1 Schools, The School Foundation and the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and is designed to give local community leaders a unique, behind-the-scenes look into schools across Florence 1 over the course of eight months.
