2026 Building Bridges Diversity and Leadership Summit

The Florence Chamber held its 2026 Building Bridges Diversity and Leadership Summit on Monday, March 23rd. Community participants were welcomed by City of Florence Mayor Lethonia Barnes and Les Echols from the Florence Chamber.

Several speakers addressed the day-long gathering, including Cynthia Walters of SC Manufacturers and Commerce, Charlee Rhodes from Northwestern Mutual and keynote speaker Dr. DaNine J. Fleming.

The program featured a women in leadership panel moderated by Tabitha James, and an Executive Roundtable featuring executives from QVC, United Way, Assurant and Spherion. The moderator of the Executive Roundtable was Edith Robinson of QVC.

The mission of Building Bridges is to enable our community to address diverse issues through a process of changing attitudes & hearts through education and issue awareness.
