SCDOT Asks For Public Input on Florence Intersection Improvement Project

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is asking for public input on its proposed intersection improvement project in Florence.

The project is at the intersection of N. Cashua Drive and W. Darlington Street, SCDOT said. The purpose of the project is to help reduce the frequency and severity of crashes at the intersection while also improving traffic.

SCDOT’s planned improvements include high-friction surfacing, new pavement markings, new and improved signs, raised concrete medians, and updated left-turn lanes.
