Florence Regional Airport 10-year Strategic Plan

The Florence Regional Airport has been working on its’ multi-faceted, 10-year strategic plan to revitalize and grow Florence Regional Airport, which will create opportunities for expanded air service and a superior customer experience.

The plan includes a more modern passenger terminal with jetway access, enhanced TSA security lane to speed-up check-in and a new 10-story, state-of-the-art, FAA control tower.

Other airport improvements include a runway expansion allowing for air cargo operations that will connect Florence to markets around the world. You can expect to see new warehouses being built for intermodal transit operations and a new rail line that will connect FLO to the Dillon Inland Port.

These improvements will help stimulate economic growth and create high-paying jobs here in the Pee Dee Region.
