Trendy Twist Boutique Joins Chamber And Celebrates With Ribbon Cutting

Trendy Twist Boutique celebrated joining the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, December 8th. Co-owner Gloria D. Anderson cut the ribbon. She was joined in the celebration by her daughter and co-owner, Shereca Anderson, her husband, Russell Anderson, and chamber ambassadors. The Trendy Twist Boutique, located at 910-A South Cashua Drive in Florence, opened in 2018.

Bethea Retirement Community Celebrates Expansion

The Bethea Retirement Community held two ribbon cuttings Thursday, December 3rd to celebrate its soon-to-be completed expansion project. Helping with the celebration was the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and its ambassadors. The retirement community is at 157 Home Ave., Darlington. The new facility is the culmination of a 17-month construction project that will not increase the facility’s capacity but will offer residents nicer facilities and more freedom in how they approach their days.

FamilyTIES Celebrates Chamber Membership With a Ribbon Cutting

FamilyTIES, at 1512 W. Evans St. in Florence, celebrated joining the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, November 25th with a ribbon cutting. Tene` Williams, owner/operator, cut the ribbon with family and chamber ambassadors joining in.  FamilyTIES offers case management services and early intervention. It is a provider for Babynet, an interagency early intervention system for children under 3 years of age with developmental delays, or who have conditions associated with developmental delays, and case management for community long-term care, offering programs to help people who need assistance but want to live at home.

Southern Events Celebrates With a Ribbon Cutting After Joining the Chamber of Commerce

Southern Events photography celebrated joining the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce on Monday, November 23rd with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the chamber.  Joining owner Kim Garand were chamber ambassadors.  Garand is an event photographer, covering everything from conventions, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, to smaller events such as wedding, birthdays and holiday parties. While Garand provides the photography for the event, her photo booths provide entertainment for guests.

Debbie King of Magical Vacation Planner Celebrates Chamber Membership with a Ribbon Cutting

Magical Vacation Planner Debbie King celebrated joining the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, November 12th at the chamber office. She was joined by family and chamber ambassadors. King joins more than a thousand agents around the country who are Magical Vacation Planners. She is the third in Florence. King said the company was started in 2006, but she became an agent in January 2020.

Gateway Realty Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Gateway Realty Group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, November 9th with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. Owner and broker-in-charge Samantha Murray cut the ribbon with staff and chamber ambassadors participating. The realty company is located at 612 S. Coit St. in Florence and has been open approximately two weeks.

The DYI Place Celebrates Chamber Membership with a Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday, November 17th at The DIY Place in downtown Florence. The “Do It Yourself” shop is located at 157 W. Evans Street. The owners, Aimee and Cornelio Monjarrez, were joined by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and its ambassadors for the celebration. DIY Place will hold its grand opening on Saturday. “We create projects where people can come in and customize it themselves,” Aimee said. “We provide the materials, the skills and teach them how to create their projects.”

American Red Cross Transitions Into United Way of Florence County Building

The Red Cross of Eastern South Carolina held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, October 29th  as it transitions its operations to the United Way of Florence Joe B. Durant Building, located at 1621 W. Palmettos St.  The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce assisted with the ribbon cutting. Chamber ambassadors joined staff, board members and members of the community for the celebration.

Breath of Life Holds Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Chamber Membership

A ribbon cutting with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce was held Thursday, October 15th at Breath of Life Academy LLC, located at 1356 James Jones Ave, Suite 5, in Florence. Chamber ambassadors joined owner Vanity Timmons and family for the celebration. Breath of Life Academy is a training academy for American Heart Association courses.

iBrow Deluxe Medical Spa Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday, October 7th  at iBrow Deluxe Medical Spa with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. Chamber ambassadors joined staff and family to celebrate their grand opening and joining the chamber.

The medical spa has been open for about a month and a half and is at 2204 Second Loop Road, Suite F, in Florence.
